Full Biography
Chris Walker is an esteemed fitness professional, accomplished writer, business owner, martial arts practitioner and father. His passion for health and fitness was first discovered at age 15 while studying martial arts. He noticed that the feeling of having a healthy conditioned body cannot compare to a sedentary lifestyle.
Chris's Passion was further fueled when his father passed, secoming to a stroke Comforted by his mother and not fully understanding the situation he pressed on in the discipline of Tang Soo Do a Korean martial art. After coming to terms with the situation of not having a father again his life was stricken with another calamity. This time his mother was diagnosed with diabetes and shortly after colon cancer. His mother lived a few years with these diseases but unfortunately could hold on no longer and shared the same fate as Chris's father. Devastated by the loss of his parents his heartache and frustration fueled his studying of health and fitness.
This led to his first job in the Soho Health Club owned by Champion Body Builder Dalton Brown. Starting out as front desk help and maintenance he worked his way to becoming assistant trainer. Chris then pursued a certification as a personal trainer and began training clients on his own. This then led to fitness consultations and assessments. Chris was then offered a position as a personal trainer with one of the leading fitness franchises, Premier Fitness. Chris worked there for a number of years gaining valuable experience dealing with a large clientele having a variety of problems from weight loss to scleroderma.
Chris developed a love for weight loss and after intense study found a weight loss solution that worked. Chris put this solution to the test and was thrilled when his client lost over 30lbs. This was his first major success but it wasn't enough Chris wanted to reach more fitness hopefuls than he was currently at the gym.
Chris started writing articles to help reach more people and soon found that people were confused misinformed and didn't understand their bodies. Chris was thrilled when people were coming up to him and saying your article helped me loose weight. Celebrating his small victories he still wanted to do more trying to reach people who lived a sedentary lifestyle he started training clients in their homes. This led to the birth of his business Fitnesstrainingformenandwomen.com and to date he has helped thousands of fitness hopefuls get fit.
Chris has now turned his focus to helping and educating clients online and looks forward to reach even more people with this new technology.
